Setting User Rights

The Set User Rights option allows Administrators to set permissions, rights and privileges for the users in the account. There are four types of Users allowed in the application:

  • Administrator
  • Power User
  • Regular
  • Limited Rights

Administrators can assign or deny access to certain features within the software to each user type. In addition, Pass-thru Users can also be designated a user type and granted rights as required.

Note: An e-Form RS Account Administrator has all rights by default. However, cells marked in Green show the rights that the users get by default. The Administrator can not alter any default permissions. They can, however, grant additional rights to each user type.

To set User Rights:

  1. Click Set User Rights listed under Administration menu. The Set User Rights screen opens in a new tab displaying a table of User Rights.
  2. Check/uncheck the User Rights boxes for each user type to add or remove a particular right for the corresponding user type.
  3. Click Save from the top toolbar to apply changes.

Note: Pass-thru users may be granted rights as Power, Regular or Limited Rights users by selecting the appropriate option at the bottom of the screen.

Note: To set all rights back to their default state, click Restore List Defaults from the top-toolbar.
