QUESTION #1: How can I keep track of tax reform changes?

ANSWER: There are 2 categories at the top of Editorial Materials - 2017 Tax Reform and 2017 Health Care Reform - that pull together pertinent articles from Checkpoint newsletters and journals. You can keyword search these categories, or hover on one of the resources and click the book icon to see a listing of all the articles. See Question #2 below for a tip on getting Checkpoint to run the search for you.

QUESTION #2: How can I be notified about updates on specific topics (e.g., border tax)?

ANSWER: Save and schedule the search to run automatically, once a week or once a month:

• On the Search screen, type in your keywords and select the appropriate newsletter(s) and any Primary Source Materials, if desired.


• Run the search. Then, on the upper-right side of the Search Results screen, click Save/Schedule Search.


• In the "Save or Schedule Search" dialog box:
  • Select a Folder in which to save the search
  • Name the search
  • Select the Frequency
  • Select how you would like to be Notified
  • Click Save

• When there are new results that match your search criteria, you will receive an email notification. To see the new results, login to Checkpoint and find the Scheduled Searches pane on the Home tab. Click on the link for the scheduled search you created to view the new results.

Personal Life: Diane loves being outdoors - biking, hiking, and walking are a few of her favorite activities. She also likes to compete in at least one triathlon (swim, bike, run) each summer, partially because it helps keep her motivated to stay active during the winter months. But, of course, winter in Minnesota is also a good time to sit by a sunny window and curl up with a good book. Fun fact: She rode her bicycle across the U.S., from Seattle to Washington, D.C.
