Ask a Product Trainer
Question #1: How do I quickly find rates or amounts, like business auto depreciation limits, 179 deduction limits, or travel per diem rates?
Answer: Many subscriptions come with “Quick Tax Amounts”, which are Federal Tax Quick Reference Tables that provide a way to quickly find frequently needed tax rates or amounts. See instructions below, or watch this YouTube video.
- On Checkpoint's Search screen, access the Quick Tax Amounts from the link on the left navigation pane.
- Click the link for the table you want to access. The tables listed are subscription sensitive.

Answer: Click on any blue circle question mark to find related training and support.
Or, hover on Help in the orange toolbar and click on Customer Help Center or Product Training.

Career History: I began my career with Thomson Reuters in 2003, working as an Inside Sales Rep in Ann Arbor, MI. In 2013 I transitioned to the Product Training team and help customers learn to use their Checkpoint®, Checkpoint Tools for PPC, and PPC's Smart Practice Aids products efficiently. I develop and deliver live and recorded webinars, private trainings and our fastest growing training offering, YouTube videos.
Personal Life: A perfect day for me is a day spent outdoors. I love spending time with my husband Josh, family and friends and my sweet golden retriever, Polly. If I disappear for a few hours, chances are I’m reading a great book. A recent favorite is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.
