Question: How do you create bold headers in the My Quick Links pane on the Home screen?

Quick Answer: Add a Spacer, and then Rename it.

How to: Add a Spacer, and then Rename it.

  • Click Edit on the right side of the My Quick Links title bar.
  • In the upper left, click Organize Links.
  • In the "Current Quick Link Display", scroll to where you want the bold header to be and click the Spacer button on the right. That adds a blank line. Tip: You may want to add another Spacer so there is a blank line between areas on your Quick Links.
  • Select the blank line and click the Rename button. Type the name for the header, click OK, and then Save.
  • The newly renamed “spacer” will automatically appear in bold black text. Click Home on the black menu bar at the top of the screen to see the end result.

Diane Claeys

Occupation: Lead Product Trainer
Years with Thomson Reuters: 12
Place of Birth: Ypsilanti, Michigan
Place of Residence: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Education: BA, Health Education, Eastern Illinois University
Fun fact: I rode my bicycle across the U.S., from Seattle to Washington, D.C.

Career History: I started my computer training career at United Airlines, followed by ExecuTrain, a software training company. At Thomson Reuters, I began as a Client Service Manager in Tax and Accounting , where I provided training and support for our customers in the use of Checkpoint®, Checkpoint Tools for PPC, and PPC's SMART Practice Aids®. Currently, as a Lead Product Trainer, I am involved in the development and delivery of live and recorded webinars, as well as our newest offering, YouTube videos.

Personal Life: I love being outdoors – biking, hiking, and walking are a few of my favorite activities. I also like to compete in at least one triathlon (swim, bike, run) each summer, partially because it helps keep me motivated to stay active during the winter months. But of course winter in Minnesota is also a good time to sit by a sunny window and curl up with a good book.
