Changing Form Font Size

The default font for all forms is set in the global options. When the global font size is changed, the change applies to all forms that do not have specific form or page options set. Once options have been set at the form or page level, they supersede any global settings.

Note: Since most tax authorities do not guarantee acceptance of forms containing fonts other than Courier New, form font style remains set to Courier New and cannot be changed. Forms that require OCRA or OCRB fonts are also automatically updated on e-Form RS.

On most forms, data entry font size adjusts automatically if the entry is too large to print within the space on the form. To override this feature:

  1. Click Program Options under Options and Security menu.
  2. Select Do not auto-shrink text when typing.

Note: The auto-sizing feature can be disabled entirely or on a field-by-field basis. Any field level font size change disables the font auto-sizing feature in that field.

To Change the Global Font Size:

  1. Click Program Options listed under Options and Security.
  2. Under the Font section, select the font size.
  3. Click Save Settings.

To Change the Form or Page Font Size:

  1. Open the selected form. Right-click anywhere on the form where there is no data entry field, and select Page Level Options.
  2. Under the Font section, select the font size.
  3. To set the font size for the selected page only, select Apply settings to this page only.
  4. Click OK.

To Change the Font Size for a Single Field:

  1. Right-click on the form field you wish to adjust.
  2. In the context menu, select Font Size, and then choose the size of font from the list.
