Creating a New Client Profile

A Client Profile contains a record of a taxpayer name, address, ID number, and other relevant information about the client. The information entered in the Client Profile record is carried into the appropriate fields on associated forms.

Note: A Client Profile must contain either a Company Name or a Taxpayer’s Last Name. If a client profile contains both, incorrect information may flow into some forms.

To add a new Client Profile:

  1. Click Add Client under Clients menu in the left navigation panel.
    The New Client's Personal Information window will open in a new tab within the application.
  2. Enter necessary data in the fields provided on the screen.
  3. Click Save Changes from the top toolbar.

Note: Alternatively, you can add new clients by clicking Add New Client option from the top toolbar on My Clients screen. To import multiple clients profiles, see Upload Clients.
