Reading Books in ProView

You can navigate easily in a book using Thomson Reuters ProView.

Browsing Your Book

A navigation bar at the bottom of the page makes it easy to navigate quickly through a book.

Table Of Contents

To view the Table of Contents of a book, complete these steps:

  1. In the book, click the Table of Contents icon on the left side of the header. The Table of Contents will appear.
  2. Click the link of the section that you want to go to.

Adding A Bookmark

To add a bookmark to a book, click the Bookmark icon in upper left corner of the page when in Book Pages mode. Bookmarks cannot be created in Scroll mode, but existing bookmarks for a given page will show as a marker in the right margin.

Jumping To A Specific Page

You can jump to a specific page in a book by typing the page number in the box in the footer and pressing the Enter key on your keyboard.

Also, you can use the scrubber at the bottom of the page to navigate forward and backward within the book. A pop up box will show you the page and section heading as you scroll through book.

Linking To Online Documents

If the book you are reading contains hyperlinks to documents on an online service, such as WestlawNext, you can access the document by clicking the link.  

Using The Table Viewer

To enlarge a table or chart in a book, click the table to open it in the Table Viewer.

To enlarge an image in a book, a photograph for example, click the image to open it in the Image Viewer.
